Verily, Allâh wishes only to remove Ar­Rijs (evil deeds and sins, etc.) from you, O members of the family (of the Prophet sawa), and to purify you with a thorough purification. (33.33)

Aims of this Site

The aim of this web site is to provide accurate information about Islamic Beliefs, history and civilization for Muslims and Non-Muslims. We would like to extend our hand in friendship to ALL truth seekers (Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs etc), and invite everyone to spare a few moments to read and learn.

While we as Muslims believe that the entire Qur'an is the word of God and we would like every one to accept it as such, God Himself has given the freedom of religion to all, which Islam fundamentally appreciates and respects. 

[2.256] There is no compulsion in religion; truly the right way has become clearly distinct from error; therefore, whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hold on the firmest handle, which shall not break off, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

With that in mind, we hope non-Muslims will at least enlighten themselves by knowing what Islam is, and what it isn't. We hope people of all religions all over the world will find ways to work together to bring peace on earth by eradicating fear, hate, disease, poverty, injustice, and immorality. We hope that the information and articles provided here will be useful in understanding the basics of Islam, and creating more appreciation for all religions.

Another important aim is to provide a link for members of the Islamic Center for sharing ongoing information on our activities, events, and efforts, and to inform our community of important issues.
